so.... this is an update.

i ordered a performance part for my truck about a week ago. i got it from a somewhat questionable source online (they had an eBay listing) anyways... i bought what is called a "cold air induction sytem" basicly it replaces the big plastic thing that sits on the engine and the big plastic box that the air filter sits in with a tube that connects to a new filter and a housing to capture air and force it in. it will improve mileage, performance and sound way better. i asked him when i should expect it.. fearing the worst. he replied and said he would email me with a tracking number... i have yet to get that email. however... two days ago it came in the mail. a huge box with the magical letters K&N on it. this morning.. i installed it. though it shouldnt have.. it took almost all morning. i ran into a couple of problems.... but it wasn't too terrible. the engine sounds fantastic, it idles the same but when you drive it hard.. it really rumbles. what should i get next? exterior body parts (fender flares, bumper cover, running board, bed cover) bed liner or more engine stuff (exhaust). any other ideas... not that my "readers" are in anyway automotive experts....but if you are.. w/e. ttyl.
