so i guess tomorows easter? i find it somewhat odd that a local church is holding an easter egg hunt. thats like McDonalds selling salads.

anyways. been looking forward to going to Rash's house next weekend. founf out last night that its actually the following weekend. i guess i WILL join my familia down to the apropriately named town of Bakersfield. (town.... it has a population aproaching that of San Francisco's)

as you noticed from my previous post, i finally got my long-awaited sidekick. for those yof you who don't know what it is, its a cell phone based data.. ummm... device. it looks like a screen with a few buttons and a scroll wheel. but the screen flips clockwise and above the main body revealing a full qwerty keyboard. making it really easy to IM and surf the web. o yeah, its got unlimited AIM and webincluded in its plan. in a word. its pimp.

not that im showing off, though i guess thats what im doing, the sidekick completes my trifecta of geek bling. first was the digital camera that i bought for the car show last year... naturally it came about a week late. second was SUPOSED to be the sidekick, but despite the fact that we went to get it in february, i didnt get it til a week ago. one ended up being my second addition was the iPod, which replaced my digi cam as my favorite gadget. 500+ songs so far, thats 1.6 days folks. however, due to lack of useability in my truck, the iPod has since been upstaged by the sidekick. nothing like texting someone while yer at a stoplight, or at starbickls waiting for an order.... or.. anywhere. thats the beauty of it. some think its kinda scary how people can just IM you anywhere.. but how is that diffewrent from a cell phone? oh, and it also has web browsing!!! how cool is that. google at my fingertips. this has enormous potential.
